Description

Responsibilities: The full-time sales representative is responsible for sales of Wide Format /copier equipment and services and related solutions to their assigned sales channel. The candidate will promote the business relationship between the dealer/distributor and will be responsible for strengthening and solidifying this relationship at the local level. The candidate will be responsible for dealer/ distributor territory management, marketing program promotion, education and other channel – related support necessary to assist the dealer/distributor in facilitating and growing sales.

In this role, the sales representative will educate and train the dealers/distributors sales organization and support staff on hardware and software solutions and program utilization, deliver current product/program information and resources to the dealer/distributors sales and support staff, develop local strategies to promote dealer/distributors growth and increased sales through to end users, actively work with assigned dealers/resellers on bid development, facilitation, investigate and report on competitive product and technology trends, deliver local product marketing support by providing dealer personnel with collateral support, promotional training, launch material and general training to ensure the dealer is prepared to professionally service the end-user, provide support ant local events, trade shows and key customer presentation, facilitate issue resolution for the dealer and provide product and market feedback to Sales Management on industry trends, dealer activity, customer changes, business opportunities, product demands and other events.

Qualification: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years “field” sales experience. Copier industry sales experience preferred. The successful candidate will be located at our branch office in Seattle. Travel required 50% of time in northwestern states of U.S. and British Columbia is required for this position.

Reporting Structure: The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, Western Region.
