Fall's upon us which makes it a great time of year to start those guitar lessons you’ve been putting off! If you're a straight up beginner or you've been playing since you were a kid, I’ve got proven lesson plans that are fun and easy to understand regardless of your skill level.

I've had students that have never touched a guitar before do really great and kids with some playing background do just awesome!

My background is strong in the styles of Rock, Blues, Funk and Jazz. I've been playing, teaching, performing, and recording for over twenty years so I'm confident that I can help you. I'm very into making your lessons fun! I also make a point of engaging my students in their lessons. We do this together. I'm not into having a student that just sits or won't ask questions. How can a person learn like that?

I offer guitar lessons to anybody that's interested. My style is laid back and fun, caring and understanding! You’ll learn chord theory, scales and modes, song writing and arranging skills plus harmony, ear training, and overall technique!

I’m also very into teaching all kinds of licks how to use them, when and where to play them. You’ll also learn box patterns and how to play melodic runs and licks up and down the fret board. I have an excellent series of lessons and speed chop exercises and a few tried and true shortcuts to get you there faster!

I’m very into having students burn a disc of tunes that they want to learn and styles they want to study. That way you get a practical application of all the scales, modes, chords, etc to work into the material you’re learning. Works like a charm!

My rates are $30.00 for 1 half hour and $40.00 for 1 hour. Lessons are paid four at a time, up front, to assure your slot stays yours and it makes my bookkeeping much easier! If this is a problem, I'm flexible and we can work it out.

I teach Electric and Acoustic guitar as well as Bass.
