Dalmatian - Large - Baby - Male - Dog - Blue - UPDATE
Description
Blue is an adorable 19 week old male Dalmatian puppy with black spots and one blue eye and one brown eye. Although blue eyes can be linked to deafness in dogs with light fur/pigmentation such as Dalmatians, Blue does appear to have normal hearing. He does have severe separation anxiety as he has been through at least four known homes at the age of nineteen weeks. He would do best in an active family with lots of time to spend with him, with someone who either works from home or has a flexible schedule and with another young adult dog in the family to play with. He is current on vaccinations and will be neutered prior to adoption. UPDATE 9/30/2009: Blue is continuing to doo well in his temporary care home. He attends doggie day care sessions and enjoys the playime and exercise with other dogs. He is being worked with regarding his anxiety with a behaviorist and is showing improvement in degrees of independence. Blue adores children and will only be placed in a home with older children or a young, active dog as a playmate.
