Pomeranian - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Major-ADOPTED!!!!

I want to thank everyone who applied for Major. I am happy to report that Major has found a forever home. If you are interested in another pet that we have in rescue, please email and let us know so we can determine if you are a potential match for that pet. Again I thank you for your interest in arescuing an orphaned pet __________________________________________ Hi! My name is Major and I am one majorly sweet boy! I think Im about 5 years old. I weigh about 18 lbs and I am a Pomeranian/American Eskimo mix, I think. I was found in an overcrowded shelter and this wonderful woman agreed to take me in as a foster. Boy, was I happy to finally be out of that shelter! I loved being with my new family, but I didnt like living in a house with other dogs that were loud and rambunctious I had enough of that while living at the shelter. I spent a lot of my time in my crate, where I felt safe, or sitting in the laps of my foster family. I did feel stressed out living in a house with high-energy dogs, so I was very excited (and a little nervous) when my foster mom told me that she found a new, quiet foster home for me to stay at. I love my new foster home! I get along great with my foster sister, a small quiet dog who has been teaching me all about things like going on walks and sniffing at interesting smells. I used to be so nervous on a walk that I wanted to hide in the bushes, but now I like being outside and exploring. Im also really smart; Ive learned a lot of words since moving into my new foster house, such as sit, wait, come, down, outside, kennel, car and bed. I learn things really quickly and I am very eager to please. All I want for a reward is to spend some time getting petted and loved on and cuddled. My most favorite place in the whole world is sitting in someones lap getting lots and lots of pets. My current foster parents refer to me as a cat in dogs clothing, with how much I love to be spoiled. I like to play a few games (hide-and-seek is my favorite) but I just really like being next to my human(s). I enjoy going in the car and I also enjoy going to the groomers. I like to be bathed at home, too, but my foster parents like to spoil me and take me to the groomers as a special treat. I NEVER beg for food, but I will try to figure out what it is that my humans are eating. Im very gentle with food and never snap when Im eating a treat from someones hand. Id really like to find my forever home in a quiet house, where I can be the only dog or have one doggie sibling who is as laid-back as I am. Children make me nervous, so I would do best in an adult home or home with older kids. Please adopt me today so that I can give you all of the love that I have to give! Adoption Donation: 250.00 Your adoption donation is used to care for the many dogs that enter into rescue. All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, cherry eye surgery, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue. New adopters will receive a FREE exam coupon at a local veterinary clinic in Lynnwood (so be sure to ask about this coupon if you are interested). **Please click here to complete the Adoption Application so we can meet** NOTE: Please do not email for more dog info. This is all the info available until approved application is received and then you can talk directly to that dog's foster home for further info. Thank you! NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason. "Saving just one pet won't change the world ... but, surely, the world will change for that one pet" author unknown
