Iris is 5 years old and was surrendered by her people, no reason given. She is large and could stand to go on a diet. She has very nice soft fur. Iris is shy but SWEET AND SNUGGLY!! She doesn't explore at all, just goes to a person for protection. Watch her video! - she loves to be held, petted, and brushed. She would likely do best in a quiet household without children. Iris has been in the shelter since May, because she doesn't put herself forward and is easy to overlook. She is a hidden treasure and it is well worth the effort to get to know her! Iris is currently in foster care. Please contact her foster mom at 425-213-3550 to arrange a meeting with her! Adoption fee is waived due to fear of flooding. We pay for the spay/neuter, first vaccines, and a free vet exam. Optional microchip is $25. You must buy a King County license where applicable - that is $30 per year, or $12 one time if you are a senior.
